Jeannie Mai accuses Jeezy of cheating as he requests custody hearing

The divorce of estranged couple Jeannie Mai and Jeezy appears to be getting messy, with allusions to cheating and a potential custody fight on the horizon.

Mai has implied that the “Put On” rapper cheated, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ. “Wife reserves the right to amend this counterclaim to add other grounds for divorce, but which Wife does not wish to specify herein at this time in the hope this matter can be resolved without having to disclose such conduct publicly,” her lawyer writes.

The document gets even more detailed revealing, “Wife further shows that the Court should enforce Paragraph 8 of the Prenuptial Agreement regarding infidelity which provides, in pertinent part, that in the event that either party engages in sexual relations, an emotional relationship, or is emotionally or sexually suggestive in communication with a third party via all forms of electronic communications, including but not limited to texting, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messages, shall result in a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party …”

I’m other words, the TV host wants her estranged husband to pay up for his alleged infidelity.

Jeezy, who filed for the divorce in September, filed a motion obtained by People, requesting a custody hearing for their daughter, Monaco.

The 1-year-old toddler has been temporarily living with Mai in Los Angeles. Jeezy claims there’s been a “lack of consistency, continuity and stability inherently associated with such a haphazard and fluid parenting time schedule.” He added that the situation is becoming “stressful” for Monaco.

According to the filing, the couple “agreed upon a visitation schedule through the end of 2023.” However, Jeezy says the current co-parenting method is causing “unnecessary tension and confusion.”

The former “Real” host is named in the document as not “acting maliciously,” but that she “acted as a gatekeeper.”

“[Mai’s] interference with [Jeezy’s] relationship with the Child, again, while not generated from or with malicious intent, is nevertheless, causing confusion and tension between the parties and is working to stifle the development of Petitioner’s relationship with the Child,” as written in the documents.

As a result, Jeezy is now requesting that the court “separate, structure and clearly define the parties’ temporary legal and physical custody rights and set a parenting time schedule consistent with the best interests of the Child.”

The estranged couple was married for two years and have yet to speak publicly on the cause of their split.

In the wake of the separation, the Grammy-nominated rapper released an album titled “I Might Forgive … But I Don’t Forget” that features the song “Don’t cheat.”

One month after the divorce filing, Jeezy shared a statement saying, “The decision to end this chapter in my life was not made impulsively and comes with a heavy heart,” Jeezy’s statement read. “Despite this, my love and respect for Jeannie remains and the time we spent together holds a cherished place in my heart.”
